The village Arnetsried is situated very central and idyllic on approx. 650 m – so to speak the ideal starting point to discover the beauty and variety of the Bavarian Forest. Visit our outsourced cow herd and the little calves which we allow to grow up in the natural way. If you like you can join us feeding them!

An excursion with your host family to the surrounding villages and the local forest, where lots of explanation in regards to the mountain chain going from the Arber to the Rachel will be given to you, is also included in your holidays.

Maybe you would like to try out Nordic Walking, then go with us for a short tour (1-2 h) through the nearby forest and farmland. In doing so we will of course show you the scenic and complex nature of the Arber land. In the winter you are more than welcome to come with us on your first snow shoeing tour. I am sure you will enjoy the unspoiled fascinating winter wonderland.
In either case we will provide the starter kit for you. In addition we not only can lend you equipment for Nordic Walking and snow shoeing, we also have a small selection of bicycles in house.

Furthermore there are many professional guided tours offered in the surrounding, e.g. tours for mountain biking, Nordic Walking, ski touring or snow shoeing.
